Here are the world's 5 worst airlines to fly with!
1. TACA AIRLINES (PERU BASED)
In Peru you should make sure you never fly with Taca. They are cheap and they are shit, they are one of the worst airline companies around. They cancel flights all the time with no warning and they don't show any signs of customer service.
2. JETSTAR (budget airline owned by QANTAS, AUSTRALIA)
You should avoid Jetstar - they are a horrible company with a bad reputation. They often have delayed flights, cancelled flights and never offer any kind of compensation. As companies go they are easily one of the worst out there!!
3. Aerolineas from Argentina
A very strange company Aerolineas as they scheduled a flight for me before my initial flight was even due to leave. It was all a bit weird and I wasted a few days in Ushuaia sat in their office trying to sort the flights out.
- changed the time of my first flight THREE times
- changed the airport of my first flight (from Jorge Newberry to Ezeiza, Buenos Aires)
- cancelled an entire flight
- delayed the new flight they put me on (refusing to even give me a FREE COFFEE)
- they blamed computer error
4. Cathay Pacific Airlines
Cathay Pacific managed to lose my bag on a long haul flight then they claimed they had no record of me putting my bag on the flight. Totally crazy experience and no compensation offered when they finally found my bag and returned it to me five days later.
5. AIR ASIA
I hate Air Asia - they are a horrible airline company and I urge you all not to fly with them. The cancelled, delayed, changed lots of my flights down the years. When they did that they didn't even offer an apology or a free cup of tea or coffee. A hotel room would have been nice but we ended up sleeping on the floor at the airport.
- Air Asia are terrible
As a person who has worked in the travel industry, the customer service industry and in Public Relations during my life, I'm fairly qualified and knowledge to know that these 5 shit airline companies suck. I would like to mention that Aerosur (Bolivia), Ryanair (Ireland), Air Canada (Canada) and British Airways (England) have all been good airline companies to fly with.
It's a life of ups and downs and I want to give you the good and bad stuff from my journeys.
