Car racing is an extremely popular and exhilarating sport, enjoyed by thousands of countless fans. The danger, adrenalin and speed aspects of its essence are what draw only the best drivers to challenge others. The USAC sprint car racing series is one of the most enjoyed races for many.

The brightly painted vehicles are designed purposely to achieve the highest degree of competitive quality possible. Each one brighter than the next and with the entire safety feature clearly exhibited for all to see. Exposed roll bars enforce the concern for the driver's safety in all directions, should an accident occur. Technological advancements ensure that the powerful engine is kept grounded despite the light external body.

Whether the driver is experienced at driving on asphalt, dirt tracks or both depends on their skill set and of course relies on choice. Some feel more comfortable on the asphalt and concentrate all of their efforts on training for a professional run at the fastest time. They are both very different and each proposes its own challenges which one should adequately be equipped for.

These include, helmets, a double layer driver suit, and of course flame-retardant driving gloves. Most of these uniforms have been tried and tested for proficiency and safety, and the driver will never race without them. Respect for the sport is imperative, and safety is probably the most important consideration.

Other than what the driver is wearing, there are numerous precautions which can be designed into the car according to the mandatory safety regulations. These include a six or seven-point seatbelt, and alcohol fuel with a fuel tank bladder. This help to prevent fuel leakage and ultimately a potential fire hazard. Each driver is not only responsible for their own safety but for all of those around them, also competing in the same race.

None of these precautions will help though, since ultimately the responsibility of safety and security rests solely on the driver and their talent. Their skill has to be trained and perfected, along with a mindset to expect the unexpected. Once they have the correct expertise and reflexes it will be possible to work on their positivity and self-confidence.

The two types of oval tracks which are used for this type of competitive racing are dirt and asphalt. These propose very different driving conditions, which all participants should strengthen and confirm thoroughly prior to a competition. Most prefer to special in only one type of track driving, since they can then concentrate their efforts and achieve success in their skill. Practice is often the best way to acclimatize one's self to the skills and tactics required for each.

With safety in mind, each performance is a testament to how well their training is rehearsed and administered, with a little talent added to the mix. Everyone might have their ultimate favorite, but it should be noted that it is a spectacular career which presents one with adventure, speed, competitiveness and of course danger. Confidence is essential along with deep concentration and focus for a successful run.
