Where To Find Frontsight Ammo

People who participate in multiple weapons related activities often attempt to stockpile ammunition for those purposes. Finding ample supplies of the appropriate calibers of bullets can be difficult and expensive. Frontsight ammo is an excellent resource for those who participate in competitions and other high volume bullet usage.

In 2011 Russel May decided that the best method of helping gun enthusiasts obtain the ammunition they need was to begin doing business directly with the manufacturers. His goal was to purchase in large quantities to reduce the costs and pass this savings on to customers either online or in his retail outlets. The concept of supply and demand has worked very well for his company.

As part of their program this company offers training boot camps in Nevada for weapons enthusiasts. In the camps they attempt to train participants in safe and effective use of their weapon of choice. Those enrolled are required to supply the ammunition used during their training. There are several different courses offered and every course requires a specific number of rounds to be purchased prior to beginning the classes. The number needed can be as high as sixteen hundred if the participant is using a semi-automatic weapon.

There are very stringent rules regarding the type of ammunition that can be used during the courses. The first and most important rule is there can be no reloaded bullets. Even bullets that have been reloaded in a factory are not allowed. These bullets can be very dangerous to the user because of variations in powder content, case fatigue from prior use or incorrect case sizing. Any of these can cause catastrophic firearm failure where the gun blows up and injures the user.

Another absolute is no steel jackets on the bullets because they damage the targets too much. They highly recommend that participants test their ammunition with a magnet prior to purchase. They also require that the bullets you do bring be metal jacketed and although they do not accept lead bullets they will accept metal jacketed lead bullets.

Acceptable bullet manufacturers include Remington, Winchester Federal Corbon and Speer. All of these brands can be purchased in gun shops and shooting supply locations nationwide. The problem most attendees are confronted with is transporting the ammunition to the course location. The extra weight costs if using commercial airlines can be phenomenal. Even air freight is expensive and there is a problem of storage if it arrives ahead of the customer.

Another option is to purchase the ammunition you need after you arrive from other retail sites but many times the amount needed may be difficult to accumulate. Many clients purchase the ammunition needed and have it shipped to their hotel for storage under their name.

When he began the business in 2011 Mr. May set a goal of supplying the highest quality products for the lowest possible prices for his customers. In the five years he has been operating his company he has been able to meet that goal and watch his company grow and expand to the level of success it maintains today.
