We can almost say that everything is possible with a computer. It is amazing that snowboarding games can be played on a computer with unimaginable ease. People who are fond of them are assured of having their enjoyment in the same measure when using the computer to play their game.

Thanks to technological development, these activities are nowadays possible on phones that use iOS and android. This, therefore, means that players do not have to be physically present in a snowy mountainous place to play, but can do that from wherever they are. It is possible for them to play during lunch breaks, while travelling or even relaxing in a couch.

Most of these games are not always available. They have low and high seasons; there are too many of them during certain times of the year and very few of them during other times. Specifically, there are usually so many of them in market between the month of October and March. Many of them flooded the market in late 90s and early 2000s.

Currently, there are many types of games under this genre. Common names in market include; Heavy Shreddin, Tommy Moes Winter Extreme; Skiing & Snowboarding, SSX 3, Winter Gold, SSX Tricky, Cool Boarders, Zap Snowboarding Trix, 1080 Snowboarding, Cool Boarders among others. They all use the same idea; snowboarding in their operations.

Some of these games are produced in series. For example, SSX is a series that is made up of SSX, SSX Tricky and SSX 3. SSX is the first in series and helped introduce others that followed in this series. SSX Tricky; the second in the series engages Uber Tricks and SSX 3; number three in the series, is responsible for initiating the concept of a mountain.

They are usually called arcade games whenever they are used in restaurants, amusement arcades, bars and other public businesses for the sake of entertaining customers. During the early stages, they used to be operated by coins by players in these places. Instead of a joystick, they normally use a physical snowboard, and the player can make all his moves on it. In the 18th century, most of these plays were 2D, but later moved to 3D in 21st century.

The negative side of these activities is that they cause addiction in people who play them. People tend to only think about them at the expense of everything else. Some players have even forgotten attending school because of wanting to play them all the time. People should, therefore, engage in snowboarding during their free time, and not all the time.

In comparison to adults, children love these activities more. Study has found more children and only few adults playing them. May be adults consider playing as being childish, or they are always engaged in earning a living for their families that they do not find time to play. Children, on the other hand, enjoy playing, and have enough time for play which relaxes their minds ready for school work.
