If you were asked for a list a holiday destinations, Mongolia would probably not feature on it. For a start it's often considered rather obscure, give that it's located between Russia and China. However, there are plenty of things to do there, whatever your preferences. One of the best things to do is to arrange Mongolian tours through a travel operator, that way all your holiday will be planned in advance.

Mongolia has a reputation for outstanding natural beauty and is steeped in history. For thousands of years the nomads have traveled across the Gobi Desert, and any tour would be incomplete without a visit to the desert as well as a camel ride.

Any tour of Mongolia should offer a variety of trips to suit each traveler. Some people want to be active when they go on vacation. For them a tour company should be able to provide horse riding across the vast landscapes, trekking across some of the mountain ranges and Kayaking. If you want a holiday with a wide variety of things to do, then Mongolia might be the answer. Some of the things you might do there are: chatting with nomads in the Gobi Desert, visiting the national parks and seeing the flaming cliffs of Yolyn Am. If you chose to go on one of the Mongolian tours then you'll probably have most of these things planned in advance for you.
