Traveling can be amongst the greatest experiences in your life. You will discover so many things on our planet to see. More than another country, visiting Namibia is a lot like coming into contact with mother earth itself. Read the tips below so that you are able to get the most from your vacation.

Something which could be an exceedingly life-enhancing experience, may be that of attending a dawn within the Etosha National Park. Naturally you have to be willing to awaken around an hour before dawn and not everybody is prepared to try this! But the ones that are prepared to give it a go will be compensated by awesome lighting effects as the sun starts to cast its first shadows on the high-standing trees. The silence and "presence" of nature truly is at its best at this time of day. The animals will become active and it is not uncommon to see lions being very playful at this time of day. The park is the biggest and earliest conservation area in Namibia and is home to 340 bird species, 110 reptiles, 16 amphibians and over one hundred mammals, which have acclimatised to the "great white pans".

Since the founding of the Etosha National Park other 15 parks have opened around the country which make up for 14% of the entire states surface. You will have a great time seeing all of the animals. There are many species that are indigenous to this semi-arid area. The absence of rain is a blessing for holiday makers that may enjoy 300 days of sunshine a year. The parks are very different one from the other and so you may delight in travelling up and down the country and enjoy the diversity. Some parks are composed of gigantic desert plains while others are greener pastures. Each park has its own micro-climate and eco-system. The wildlife is exotic and rare and there are local kinds of lynx, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes and cheetahs.

Holidays in Namibia have surprisingly not truly become preferred among Europeans and US people but this is actually a blessing for the ones that choose to discover this impressive land because they are able to experience a vacation that is truly genuine. The inhabitants and the guides aren't jaded, the hotels are cheap and great and the nature is completely uncontaminated.

Don't miss out on Kaokoland and the Kunene River : Called "coco land" by the local Himba folks, this region is where they live in a nomad state. The area is populated by lions, giraffes and elephants and has a powerful arid flora with wide yellow fields and conic cliffs. It extends North for near fifty thousand square Kilometers, up to the Hoanib River.

If you're an enthusiastic birdwatcher you're going to like Caprivi. This is a beautiful wetland area enclosed by palms and papyrus trees. Here you are going to manage to see loads of differing bird species and if you love fishing you can enjoy over 70 differing kinds of fish. Namibia is populated basically by the local Herero and Kavango folks and also by the antique Dutch colonials called Afrikaners. Afrikaners are found in virtually all of Southern Africa and so are considered African in every respect given that they have inhabited these lands for more than four hundred years. There's also a big resident population of Germans and Asians.

Traveling to Namibia can be one of the best journeys you will ever have. There are so many places to visit and things to see. This piece of writing will help you do it in the proper way.
